Before the new year, there's a good reason to sit down at the poker table once more! At the end of December, when the Christmas dishes have already been delightfully enjoyed but it's not yet time to shout “Happy New Year!”, it's worth heading to Park Casino. From December 26th to 30th, the OlyBet Christmas Cracker mini poker festival will take place again.
Festival Overview
The four-day festival offers exciting tournaments for both NLH (No Limit Hold'em) and Omaha players, including regular and bounty tournaments. The festival kicks off on December 26th at 1:00 PM with a free-entry satellite tournament, leading into the €250 NLH OlyBet Christmas Cracker Opening Event at 5:00 PM the same evening. The first day ends with a satellite tournament at 10:00 PM, whose winners will secure entry to the €555 OlyBet Christmas Cracker Main Event.
Main Event
The festival's main event, the €555 NLH OlyBet Christmas Cracker Main Event, will take place over three days:
- December 27th - Day 1A starts at 1:00 PM
- December 28th - Day 1B starts at 1:00 PM
- December 29th - Day 2, during which late registration will still be open for one level.
The tournament final will be held on Sunday, where the festival champion will be determined.
Omaha Progressive Bounty Tournament
On December 28th, Omaha enthusiasts are also welcome at the tables. At 7:00 PM, the €250 PLO4/PLO5 Progressive Bounty will begin, promising to be especially exciting and aggressive. Each player’s "bounty" starts at €100 and increases with every elimination, adding lots of tension and thrill to the tournament.
Final Tournament
The festival's final tournament will take place on December 30th at 3:00 PM, with a more affordable entry fee - the €150 NLH Mini Main. This tournament is a great way for everyone to end the poker festival with some excitement at a lower cost.
Cash Games and BadBeat Jackpot
Naturally, throughout the four days, there will also be the opportunity to play cash games. Will any player be “unlucky” enough to win the BadBeat Jackpot? We will see on-site, but it’s certainly worth giving it a try!
Satellite Tournaments and Qualification
You can qualify for the OlyBet Christmas Cracker tournaments through OlyBet online satellite tournaments and live satellites at Park Casino, where the guaranteed number of tickets is quite generous.
- Wednesdays feature free-entry satellites with a guaranteed prize pool of €1255 (1 ticket to the Main Event, 1 ticket to the €250 tournament, and 3 tickets to the €150 tournaments).
