Olympic Poker does not focus on poker strategy. Olympic Poker will however provide you with a few Sit N' Go Tournament tips and poker advice for new players.
Play tight in the beginning. Only play high ranking poker hands in the early stages of the game so you won't bust out early. Even though the blinds are small, do not waste your chips on playing weak poker hands. Remember, only the top 3 finishers get paid.
Observe your opponents, figure out which poker players are strong and which are weak. In general, the more experienced stronger players will play less poker hands, opposed to weak players who play many hands. Avoid the strong players and rather try taking pots from the weaker players.
Avoid going on tilt. Losing with Pocket Aces against 6-9 offsuit makes everyone mad - but that's poker and it happens even to the best players. Punch a pillow, let it all out and move on. Remember, the goal is to get the big pay-day in the end by playing many tournaments to get your poker bonus. |
