Choosing the right limit is the toughest decision for new players because they might lose their bankroll quickly.

Olympic Poker recommends to focus on two things when collecting points for your poker bonus:

  1. Choose the lower limits so you won't lose your bankroll
  2. Choose a limit where you can collect points quickly to reach your poker bonus

An unwritten rule is to choose a limit where you would have a bankroll with at least 20 times the buy-in. If you're bankroll is 100$ then the optimal buy-in for a Sit N' Go Tournament would be 5$.

All poker players sometimes get unlucky and get knocked out early. The chances are that you're not going to win every time, so it's better not to risk your entire bankroll with a couple of big buy-ins.

Olympic Poker recommends these limits for first poker bonuses:

$5 + $0.50 Limit if you have 100$ in your bankroll

$2 + $0.20 Limit if you have less
